Learning From a Young Age
Mr. Griffith was born in Barbados but raised in Brooklyn, New York. Even from a young age, he displayed great artistic ability as a sketch artist. New York City gave him the ability to grow as an artist by visiting galleries and museums constantly.
An Artist Abroad
Following his graduation from college, Mr. Griffith spent more than 20 years living and working in Europe. From working as a freelance photographer to shooting for the United Press International, Griffith has plenty of experience in photography. He worked for various publications in Germany and France, too.

The South of France
Many artists fantasize about living and working in the South of France, but Griffith turned the fantasy into a reality for himself. He studied and participated in photography workshops at the Ecole Nationale de la Photographie d'Arles. His portfolio was reviewed by renowned and influential photographer Helmut Newton, who said, "Eric Griffith has a natural, photographic eye and his work is tastefully done."
photography has been featured in exhibits in Frankfurt and Heidelberg, Germany, as well as the city of Arles, in Provence, France. Private collectors all over Europe have purchased his work as well.
Return to the U.S.
Since his return to the U.S., Griffith has settled down in Sarasota, Florida. To continue his work in fine art photography, he has displayed his work throughout the United States in cities including:
